( Katrina's Questions! ) - Why did you pick the topic? I picked this topic because it seems extremely interesting and like one of the easier topics to research. People from back then that were famous are still known today.
- What do you want to know about the topic? About this topic I’d like to know how famous people now a days are treated compared to them back then and see the differences.
- What did you find most interesting about the topic? The most interesting thing about my topic is finding out information on famous people from back then. It’s weird to see how much of an impact they have on society today, the way people look at others, the music choices. The music choices back then were much more settled and quiet, not as rowdy. Music today is everything mixed together. In my opinion people defeat the purpose of different genres, like in the 1950’s things were specific. Now a days you can’t really tell the difference that well.
- What do you want to share with the class? I’d like to share with the class that the thing most important back in the 1950’s is Elvis Presley, he helped develop how music is today. And also Harry Truman’s role as the president.

Back in the day there were still teen sensations, singers that teeens idolized and they had to work as hard as people do today. Them becoming famous was just as hard. Most famous people didn't die from natural causes, they had weird deaths. They usually die from drug uses and car crashes. Most famous people didn't have one lover. (Brianna's Summary )singer was Elvis Presley in the 1950s. So many people loved him, and many do still today. Many people were devistated when he died. He died from a heart attack in the bathroom at Graceland, on August 16th 1977. Another well known famous person is James Dean. He was a famous actor and he still is today. He died at the height of his career. He died in a car crash on September 30th 1955 in California. He was only 24 years old.

In 1991 Sophia won The Academy Honorary award for her contributions to the world cinema. Ms.Loren is still living to this day . She resides in Geneva ,Switzerland , and also in Naples, Italy. Sophia had 2 sons Carlo Ponti Jr. and Edoardo Ponti while married to her husband Carlo Ponti Sr.
